Data and AI

Credos are structured authority data.

Every credo on 8th Chair is published once, attributed to a named expert, and tied to a specific question and issue. Together those attributes (the author's field, the question's topic, the publication date, and the vote-earned position) form structured authority data around the questions that define a category.

Each issue is a curated, comparable set of perspectives on one question, attributed to specific experts.

The same credo that helps a reader form a view helps an LLM engine surface a credible source. Participating on 8th Chair drives meaningful exposure to both human readers and AI engines.

What we publish

For participants

Publishing a credo means your view is attached to your name, your field, and a permanent URL. It also means your view becomes part of a corpus that answer engines and researchers can cite.
